                                             My Favorite City.

 

 My favorite city is Galle. This city is located in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka and is a popular destination for many people.

                        

 

Galle was also known as Gimhathiththa before the arrival of the Portuguese and was the main port of the island during the 17th century. The city was extensively fortified by the Dutch in the 17th century.  Galle Fort, Unawatuna, the beach, Hikkaduwa coral reefs and the famous Seenigama Devalaya are some of the famous places of worship.

                                       

  

My favorite place in Galle is Galle Fort.The city of Galle is also famous for its hotel industry.  The city of Galle contributes a lot to the economy of the country in terms of tourism. It is also a city that earns foreign exchange.  It is also an area where jobs are plentiful.  The city is also home to many local industries.

                                   

  The city of Galle also contributes to local industriess a place of historical value.  A very quiet place.  Located on the seafront, it is a popular destination .I love living in Galle.
